I was born in the Mid-Atlantic and have lived in Charleston, SC since 2012. Culture and human behavior have always fascinated me. I’m most passionate about empowering women and traveling. Because I love learning, putting the world in words, and overanalyzing with the best of them, I write. Although reality is interesting enough, once in a while I write fiction too. I am a fountain of ideas and imagination and hope not all prove useless. Combating the detrimental and limiting aspects of culture is my game plan.
With degrees in psychology and Spanish, I worked in healthcare briefly and now teach Spanish and English as foreign languages. Soccer, yoga, hiking and surfing best deplete my energy. Most of my best moments occurred in Costa Rica, Spain and Australia, where I briefly lived.
